We are closed on weekends in summer
30th Jun 2021
At the same time as we start seeking out the shade of mature trees for our summer picnics, the Chew Valley Trees enters slow season. This means we take a break from Saturday opening in July and August. You can still order online and visit us during the week. Saturday opening will resume on 4th September 2021.
We will still respond to online enquiries and phone calls and messages, and you can find lots of advice on the website.
Need help choosing trees or hedging? We have guides on apples, alternatives to ash, evergreen hedging, native hedging, shrubs, screening, scented plants, wildlife choices, trees for small gardens and limited space, for the seaside, and for winter interest.
Help on planting, aftercare and maintenance can also be found in the small tree and large tree planting guides, and the aftercare guide. And there's more about staking, canes, rabbit & deer guards, grass & weed control, feeding, hedge trimming, Wisteria pruning, growing photinina, growing things in containers, and watering. You can also find out the top 7 things to avoid when planting!
