UPDATE 05/01/2021: Current government guidance has specifically designated garden centres as providing essential goods and services and as such we will continue to trade as normal.

We are currently open 8:30-16:00 Monday - Saturday and will continue to offer deliveries and planting as normal.

If you are intending to visit, please check our website for any changes to this before travelling.

Happy 2021!

19th Jan 2021

Happy 2021! We are all hoping this year will be better than last, aren't we? Onwards and upwards.

And it's got off to a busy start for us here at the nursery with demand for bare root trees and hedging running high. If you are still planning on planting bare root, we recommend getting your orders in as soon as you can. If you want to wait until the weather is a little more clement, however, you can choose from our wide range of container-grown stock. This means you can browse and choose your own specimens at the nursery, too (bare root trees are dug up to order and we choose for you) (restrictions allowing).

Bare root? Container grown? What does it all mean? Take a look at these guides for explanation:

Bare root or container?

Buying bare root hedging

Planting bare root whips

And if you're in need of a little inspiration:
