Happy 2019! And advice on planting in cold weather…

Despite good intentions, most of us here at Chew Valley Trees have been guilty of a spot of overindulgence during the festive period. You too? We recommend a healthy dose of hedge and tree planting to banish the extra pounds while keeping the cold at bay.

Speaking of which, weather reports say we may be due some snow this month, while some places in the UK are already enduring a bout of sub-zero temperatures. No doubt this will put some people off planting, but in general, we say as long as you can get a fork in the ground, it's fine to get on with planting.
