Terms and conditions

The price offered relates to specific stock in the ground there is no guarantee to hold that price once that stock is sold.

In the event of a claim being made against us, our liability shall in all circumstances be limited to the purchase price of the goods in question.

Guarantee

We only send out top quality trees and shrubs, and are therefore confident you will have no need to return the plants. In the unlikely event that on receipt of your plants you are not entirely satisfied please contact us within 7 days for a refund or replacement or else no adjustment will be made.

Large bare root and container grown trees

If your tree dies in the first year we are more than happy to replace it free of all charges, though we do have a couple of stipulations. If the plant comes into leaf then dies, or the steps in our planting guide have not been followed correctly we reserve the right not to refund/replace the plants. In the unusual event that your tree dies within a year we may ask for photos to be sent so we can assess the possible reason and advise on solutions for the future. Replacements will be of the same size and species as originally supplied. Note that where the plants are bare root the replacement will be supplied when dormant i.e. between November and March.

Whips and hedges

It is not unusual for a few bare root whips to fail to break leaf in the spring following planting. Failure of up to 10% can be considered normal and allowed for in deciding planting densities and quantity. In certain species, for example beech, failure rates can be higher.

Where more than 10% of plants fail to break into leaf we will consider replacing the plants free of charge the next bare root season with plants of the same size and specification as the original supplied.
