Tilia - Lime

Limes or Lindens are a genus of deciduous trees from northern temperate regions.

They are easy to grow being tolerent of a wide range of conditions. They have creamy yellow flowers in June or July.

There are two native species, Tilia cordata, Small leaved Lime and Tilia platyphylos, Large leaved Lime.
