Small, deciduous tree originating from China. This popular ornamental rowan is a superb choice for the small garden with its display of white spring flowers and creamy yellow berries in the autumn combined with late season leaf colours of crimson and purple. These colours contrast well against the clusters of berries. The pinnate leaves are somewhat fern-like in appearance casting a light shade on the ground below. Prefers full sun or light shade and well-drained soil.
