Salix - Willow

Willows are large diverse genus of more than 300 species varing from dwarf shrubs to large trees.

They are succesfull in a large range of situations, tolerating damp even wet conditions.

Native species include Salix alba, White willow, Salix caprea, Goat willow and Salix fragils, Crack willow.
