Ordering & Payment
Orders can be made online, in writing, by telephone, fax, e-mail or in person at the nursery.
On-line ordering
When ordering on-line you will be required to pay via protx a secure online payment before you log off the website. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. You can view the price of plants with or without VAT. Once in the shopping basket the total price will be shown with VAT itemised.
Step 1
Select items and add to shopping basket. Once you are happy your order is as you wish, complete the required contact and delivery information. You can if you like print your shopping list at this stage but you will get an opportunity to print out your order with its unique order number in step 6.
Step 2
Proceed to checkout. It is not possible to add or remove items once you proceed to the checkout but payment is not implemented until step 4.
Step 3
You will be taken to protx a secure online payment service provider. You will be asked for payment details prior to payment being taken.
Step 4
Proceed to payment confirmation screen. Press proceed to finalise payment.
Step 5
You will be automatically returned to Chew Valley Trees website to the “Order Complete” screen which will include the unique order id number which you should make a note of. The details of what you have ordered will also be listed here and you can print this page if you wish.
Step 6
You will also receive an email notification from protx with the same unique order id and the details of what you have paid for.
A VAT receipted invoice will be despatched with the goods.
Off-line ordering
For off-line orders payment is required on collection of plants and payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or debit card. Customers paying by cheque will need to either have a cheque guarantee card covering the value of the cheque or allow 5 working days clearance prior to purchase. Payment for plants ordered off-line that are being delivered must be made prior to delivery.
