Juniperus- Junipers
Junipers are spread widly over the northern hemisphere. They are evergreen and range from treesup to 30m to low spreading or prostrste shrubs. The leaves are of two types, juvenile leaves are awl like and pointed, the adult leaves are scale like and crowded. A number of species produce both types of leaves at the same time.
Junipers like well-drained soils and most are lime tolerent
