Broadleaved Tree & Shrub Whips
Viburnum - Viburnum
A large genus of evergreen and deciduous shrubs and small trees extending over all of the northern temperate region.
Most have white flowers, some very fragrant, in flat heads, often followed by brightly coloured fruit.
There are two native species, both found in hedges, Viburnum opulus, Guelder rose and Viburnum lantana, Wayfarer.
